EXCLUSIVE-The superintendent of the State of Oklahoma, Ryan Walters, called for Western Heights School District to "immediately" terminate a drag queen they hired to be an elementary school principal.

"It's outrageous to have a drag queen running a school, you know, here in Oklahoma that doesn't line up with Oklahoma values," Walters told Fox News Digital. "I hear from parents every day that are concerned with this woke left-wing indoctrination or schools, this gender theory that continues to be thrust upon our kids. It's completely inappropriate."

The principal of John Glenn Elementary School, Shane Murnan, is a drag queen who goes by the name "Shantel Mandalay," Fox News Digital can confirm. Murnan maintained a separate Facebook page from another called "Shantel Mandalay." According to the page, Murnan was employed as a drag queen at a venue called "The Boom."

"This individual is not fit to lead a school district," Walters said. "It has to stop."

As a parent, how confident you would be for the quality of education of your children and the ethos & principles of the school they're attending if you were to find out the principal of this school is a draw queen who has been investigated in the past for child pornography (charges were eventually dropped according to the article)

The story has been covered on mainstream media

Who was convicted:

Prosecutors won't appeal porn ruling
Dawn Marks

STILLWATER - Payne County prosecutors will not appeal a judge's ruling to dismiss possession of child pornography charges against a former teacher.

District Attorney Rob Hudson said Tuesday that after Payne County District Judge Donald L. Worthington on Thursday dismissed the charge against Shane Brent Murnan, 31, prosecutors reviewed the case and talked with school officials before making a decision.

"After careful consideration of the issues and whether we would ever be able to prove he was in possession of the deleted materials, we have decided not to appeal," he said. "We're disappointed, but we respect the court's decision."

Police arrested Murnan in August 2001 after a Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation search recovered four deleted

images of children engaged in sex acts, court records state. Police also found 6 grams of marijuana in his home.

Of course this was in 2001, I believe someone dropped the ball. A post I read regarding the issue.

He was actually CONVICTED by a judge of child porn & drug charges, however, was exonerated on appeal because " they couldn't prove the images were of underage children". Unfortunately, victims of kiddie porn don't have verifiable ID's, so burden of proof releases many predators like this one. Seriously cannot believe how poorly media has presented this minus relevant proof...almost as if they support pedophiles running schools? Regardless of whether their age (one judge agreed they were children), HE HAD PORN IMAGES on his COMPUTER!! Many teachers have been fired for far less. Also, he was chosen in a closed door meeting, outside procedure. Know the facts, present them accurately!

It's a little confusing because in this article:

In 2002, a Payne County judge tossed the case due to a lack of proof presented by prosecutors that Murnan, a fifth-grade teacher in a different district at the time, was in possession of any child pornography. The case was later reversed via appeal, The Oklahoman reported at the time, though the record of charges was eventually expunged and Murnan continued his career as an educator, which has now spanned over 25 years.

www.newsweek.com...#:~:text=Murnan's%20personal%20Facebook%20page% 20has,arrested%20on%20child%20porn%20charges.

Either way, he should not be working with or around children.

I have made another thread about Mothman and the legacy of this creature. It's more believable Mothman exists rather than a school will employ a drag queen as a principal.

This isn't specifically about drag story time.

But it's very telling that they never want to engage with the homeless, or with the elderly, or special needs folks. They only ever want access to children.

I wonder how on earth the ethos & principles of any school will allow a drag queen to become a teacher let alone the principal of the school.

From you source:

According to a local report that covered the story, the charges were dismissed because it could not be proven that the images were of individuals under the age of 18.

What if the images were of people 18 yrs or older? Without evidence everyone is crucifying this guy.

Individual States need to outlaw this ideology/movement as fast as possible because the agenda is rather obvious and sinister. I wonder who promoted this person so he could now be the principal of this school. There could be others sympathetic to the cause or members of this ideology who work in the school/district or even local politicians.

Those who hired him are standing by their decision and him.

Defending the drag queen principal? How surprising?!

Your problem is whether it was over or under 18?
The fact that a drag queen was appointed a principal and has been investigated for child pornography didn't ring any bell?

And Murnan hired another drag queen as a kindergarten teacher assistant:

Now, Murnan has welcomed the new addition of Carmen Deveraux, whose real name is Paul Caplan Stafford, as a teacher assistant in a kindergarten classroom, according to V1sut. Murnan and Stafford work together at the same nightclub. In screenshots of Facebook posts that appear to have since been deleted, Murnan, with his drag account, welcomes Stafford by his drag name, saying that “the long hours will now pay off.”

They perform at The Boom in Oklahoma quite often according to all their pics on facebook

This more than just drag queen; you know I believe that what you do with your private time is personal but been around children and been a well-known drag queen does not go very well together.

Pedos are in our classrooms, they are around our children, the woke movement is making that now look normal.

The police detectives could not prove it was child pron so why crucify him?

Nobody has crucified him.
But being a drag queen principal isn't compatible with the ethos & principles of schools. On the top of this he has been investigated for child pornography in the past (regardless of outcome). Not the best qualifications someone must have to be in the position of a school teacher let alone a principal.

Lol...

Murnan is also being accused of being a drag queen who performs as Miss Shantel Mandalay.

Miss Chandelier Bellagio was taken?

The drag queen part doesn't seem as important as the dismissed jailbait images part.

If they want to piss off the people with dove license plates with their progressive choices, they should at least vet their choices for such red flags, and think what gets flagged all the way through.

"Okay, we are in one of the most religious states in the country. How do we make sure this hire turns into the 5th act of a Shakespeare play? Oh, I know, let's hire a progressive drag queen with dismissed child porn charges. What could go wrong?"

There's gotta be less bound for the floor ways to taunt local christian values with a "with the times" administrative hire.

Unless laws become strict.
See how Georgia and several other States have banned 'gender affirming care' for minors. They need to create further laws to protect children against all this.
