I think you might be a generation or 2 ahead of me. I tend to default to 80's movies for bad B movie cinema. Ghoulies, Critters, Munchies, Terrorvision... is what come to my mind.

But I am interested in checking out your submissions.

The Blood Island Trilogy is a must see for any fan of goofy horror. Mad doctors, monsters, and hot islander chicks!

My boxed set is prominently displayed in my video library 😄

I have a thing for the bad disaster flicks from the '70s.

Here's a list. Most of them weren't very good, but they were still entertaining in that good bad way.

I had the internet TV on (Pluto?? Maybe) and this movie came on.

I remember watching it on Showtime back in the day (and a scantily clad Farah Fawcet) but remembered little else. Boom! It is Harvey Keital and Kirk Douglas!!

Besides that the movie is completely forgettable.

eta: movie title: Saturn 3

I can’t believe I sat through this several times (boobs) and still can’t remember how it ends!!

For comparison, I saw Silent Running once. I can still remember the lone robot rocketing into space with the last of earth’s trees!!

thank you to underpass61 for mentioning "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" ! That movie intentionally aimed to recreate schlock B-movie horror aesthetics.

If you enjoy movies that are TRYING TO BE BAD, then try the films of Christopher Mihm . The films are not available at the link I posted: the link is to Christopher Mihm's movie website for a complete list of titles.

thank you to OP ColeYounger for starting this topic! I've bookmarked the page and will work my way through the movie suggestions.

I love bad movies, especially horror!

Poultrygeist. LOL My hubby walked in while I was watching that, stood there for minute, told me he loved me, then walked out of the room.
I think he had to remind himself. LOL

Also, Black sheep? about zombie sheep eating people. It was awesomely horrible.

Loving all the movies to check out in this thread

I love old sci Fi movies.
Some of these might not be considered bad but most definitely would be.

Day of the triffids.
Them
20 million miles to earth
The green slime
Anything Godzilla
Death race 2000

Some from the 80s were pretty good too.

Night of the comet
The miracle mile
Def con 4

The old Ray Harryhausen films were classic. 20 million miles to earth is a favorite of mine. The Ymir!

Back in the day, a special effects guy named Pete Peterson did some good stop-motion film. Peterson worked with Willis O'Brien, the legendary special-effects guy.

Can't let this topic go without the undisputed Queen of crappy movies, Elvira Mistress of the Dark!

Elvira's Movie Macabre - The House That Screamed
(Stupid YT put an age restriction on the link so I can't embed)

If that's not enough here's a link to every episode:
Every Elvira's Movie Macabre

Her own two films were great too.

I love Elvira. I saw her on a talk show back in the early 80s. She had just come up with the idea of her "Mistress of the Dark" character - a sort of mix between Lily Munster and a valley girl.
I heard she did a music video called "Dont Cancel Halloween" when Covid hit.

I think she's like 70 now! Time sure flies!

I have a friend who is a superfan, to the point of being a near-stalker LOL. He used to go to all of her public appearances around L.A.
One year he gave me a personally autographed box set of her movies. He bought two sets and she signed one for him and one for me. He said she was super cool and always recognized him at those events.
