If this topic has been posted here already, I apologize. If not, are we witnessing something again that is the beginning of a much bigger problem than what we recently experienced with the COVID outbreak? This news appears have have slipped through many mainsteam outlets but nevertheless, it is something to keep an eye on.
Denver Health administers Live Ebola vaccines

The big questions remain "how much have they vetted and studied this so-called vaccine? What are the drawbacks and how long have they tested it? Etc, etc

This jumped out at me:

It is unclear how long the vaccines provide immunity, but at the moment the dosage is just one shot, Maria Frank, MD, a hospital medicine specialist with Denver Health, told 9News.

But the crazy thing is it was given FDA approval in 2019...but they don't know long it works for?
Something smells fishy to me, and I'll remain unvaccinated for that as well!

You know, Covid was and still is a joke. Ebola, on the other hand, is no joke. And this:

She was one of the first recipients of the vaccine, which at this time is only available to frontline workers at high risk of contracting the disease.

It seems it will be given to the people in outbreak areas. Maybe, they will transport the vaccines to Africa. It's also for the health workers who care for the patients with Ebola. Such people need a vaccine.

And yes, it's experimental but But Ebola has 90% mortality rate and if you work in a hospital treating Ebola patients then one moment of carelessness or simple mistake can cost you life.

With Covid, you don't have to bother to wash your hands.

By the way, polio vaccine had more side effects than any Covid vaccine. But somehow I don't recall the public outcry against it although it was obligatory. Heine - Medin is not a joke either.

I think that much controversy surrounding vaccination can be attributed to the fact that pharmaceutical companies are coming up with the vaccines for mild diseases like rubella or chicken pox or popular seasonal diseases like flu or Covid. Most people think it's unnecessary and can prove to be more harmful than the disease itself.

The mortality rate of Ebola is nothing to joke about but the biggest thing to me is that they have no phriggin idea how long immunity lasts. Is it 6 weeks, 6 months or 6 years? Why roll something out, especially in a place like Africa, if you have no clue whatsoever of vaccine efficacy? Something seems way off with this.

2019 FDA approval and where are the results of the test cases? No one knows but yet they have big plans for this.

Ebola does not do very well in cold climates, so there is that.

As to the possible side effects of the vaccine.

Some vaccinated individuals may experience arthralgia and arthritis after vaccination. In general, arthritis began one week after vaccination and resolved within a week after onset. However, some vaccinated individuals reported prolonged and recurrent arthritis symptoms.

Although this vaccine is described as a "live" vaccine in the article, it is not a live Ebola virus. It is "a recombinant, replication-competent viral vector vaccine. It consists of rice-derived recombinant human serum albumin and live attenuated recombinant vesicular stomatitis virus, which has been genetically engineered to express the main glycoprotein from the Zaire ebolavirus so as to provoke a neutralizing immune response to the Ebola virus."

From your link:

"Importation of Ebola disease to the United States by an infected traveler from an outbreak area is a recognized risk with the potential for spread to other people," the CDC states. "During the 2014-2016 Ebola disease outbreak in West Africa, 11 people were treated for [Ebola] in the U.S., and two of them died. Nine of these cases were imported into the U.S."

The other two cases were contracted by healthcare workers treating the patients, according to the agency.

Perhaps those 'in the know' are preparing for something? Diseases that once were under control in the US are coming back with a vengeance because of the open door policy at the southern border.

Thousands of West African migrants are pouring into the US after social media helped spread the word about a lesser-known, low-stakes path through Nicaragua.

This part really caught my attention:

Why would somebody in Colorado be at high risk, unless it's already here-or expected soon?

I still keep wondering, who the government of the US is catering too, because the safety, well being and health of America is not priority.

The plan of the democrats has to be soo incredible, that they risk America for it.

No way would I trust these new Ebola jabs. Made by Merck who has a partnership with Pfizer. Now that it is proven how diabolical their distribution of their covid jabs, to send known bad batches/lots to red states to eliminate more republican voters is a crime worthy of death for all of those who participated.

Well, Margo-it looks to me all the western countries are following the same game plan and opposing/hindering/sanctioning all countries that aren't. It looks like the western world is fighting for world dominance and the BRICS countries have other ideas.

The infection fatality rate of Ebola is quite high but not as high as you mentioned.

The case fatality rate ranges from 25% to 90% which medical authorities placing it on average at around 50%. Still deadly and still a very serious disease. But the actual infection fatality rate is always smaller than the case fatality rate.

50% rate is pretty dang high in my book. I’d do well on spin the wheel in Vegas.

I’ve not heard or seen any Ebola victims in the US except for that scary book written a few years ago. What are they planning for soon? Sounds to me it’s going to be some sort of Bio attack.

Someone posted that it doesn’t do well in cold climates, well why the F are they giving the test vaccine in CO? In case it escapes it will die off since it’s winter time there now?

Or,

It makes no diffence since most building are warm year round. Infected people are not going to sleep outside in the snow by themselves when they are sick.

The FDA doesn't care about the effectiveness of products marketed as medication, all they care about is the bribe money from Big Pharma and the juicy directorships the higher ups will get in the same industry post-retirement.

It is, I am not saying it isn't. But this is the case fatality rate. The infection fatality rate its lower than 50% but still this is a deadly disease. A microorganism than can kill 3% to 5% is considered a very serious one. For example the Spanish Flu had an infection fatality rate of around 10%.
Compared to SARS-CoV-2 with an infection fatality rate of approximately 0.2% or even less.

Very rare to find someone who has been infected with any of the ebola viruses anywhere in the Northern Hemisphere as they are primarily found in subsaharan Africa. Bats may have to do something with the transmission and they act probably as a reservoir of these viruses.

Link to Ervebo info @ FDA FDA-Ervebo jab

At the bottom of that page is "related information". That link says this Ebola jab is for 18 YO and older, so that's another odd contradiction.

Well, when I first read this OP I noticed in that link, that it named the Ebola jab, so I looked it up and discovered it was made by Merck.

So I checked into Merck and Pfizer and discovered they partnered up before and are working together in business. (Pretty safe to assume all the big former Nazi pharma conglomerates have each other's collective backs.)

Granted, these companies do indeed make some great medications that help countless people, but they also do criminal things as their court/lawsuit/Fines history proves. Pfizer joining forces with the Biden administration to eliminate republican voters being the most recently known class A felony crime.

I read somewhere it's emergency use, and other places fully FDA approved, so I' don't know, haven't looked into it further.
