"If Hamas committed an act of terrorism and did what it did, the state of Israel is also committing several acts of terrorism by not taking into account that children are not at war, that women are not at war," he said.

The Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Monday welcomed 32 Nationals who have been trapped in Gaza and after a month of negotiations they were rescued by his Government. According to the article Monday's flight brings the total of those rescued to 1,477 people, including three Bolivians, 11 Palestinians and one Jordanian citizen, as well as 53 pets.

The President said he has never seen such brutal and inhumane violence against innocent civilians and he is quite right about it. Israel has killed thousands of innocent civilians most of whom are women and children. The Israeli Government and Armed Forces have committed a range of war crimes including the forced expulsion of hundreds of thousands of people from Northern Gaza, the disproportional aerial bombardment of the civilian population, the attacks on civilian structures, hospitals, and humanitarian workers, the deprivation of the population from the very basics such as food, water, electricity, and others.

A very sharp observation for one that pays attention in the details. Reuters said that

Gaza medical authorities say more than 11,000 people there have been confirmed killed, with about 40% of them being children

Finally departing from the dogma of Hamas driven numbers. It's the Gaza medical authorities that give these number regardless of who is in charge. And it's likely to be even more dead considering those who are missing and are trapped under the rubble.

There is no doubt Israel has committed a range of war crimes and crimes against humanity in the came of self defense and freedom. The UN, Amnesty International, The Red Cross, Independent Human Rights Lawyers and Politicians have argued that Israel has violated International Laws and it has been argued that Israel must be brought before the ICC.

The Brazilian President argues what many have argued before i.e that Israel is committing acts of terrorism implying it is a terrorist state.

In this thread….

Another corrupt politician endorses hamas.

Are you going to make a thread for every corrupt politician who endorses hamas/hates Israel?
It’s almost like you’re trying to discredit yourself and hamas.

There is no excuse for the crimes committed by Israel. I am sure you will find something to argue but you have no valid arguments when at the same time an Israeli Government made up of ultra right wing fascistoids massacres thousands of innocent civilians in Gaza.

Better find a different line when you try to support those who have committed war crimes and crimes against humanity.

After surviving throat cancer in 2011, da Silva was convicted for corruption and money laundering in 2017, charges stemming from a wide-ranging investigation into the state-run oil company Petrobras, dubbed “Operation Car Wash.”

His legal troubles rumbled on until April 2018, when he surrendered to federal authorities and began serving a 12-year prison sentence.

However, in March 2021, a court threw out his conviction, clearing the way for his political rebound.

www.cnn.com...

He could not have been that corrupt if a court threw out his conviction. Most likely political in nature and nothing to do with actual corruption. Even if there was every single government in the world has their special kind of corruption now don't they?

Another round of desperate arguments made by those who try to defend the mass killings of innocent civilians in Gaza. Politicians, Lawyers, Doctors, and many others from all over the globe has spoken out and condemned the Israeli Actions in Gaza. There is no going back.

The mass killings have made everyone aware of the situation in Gaza. Now there is an increasing number of politicians and officials who are asking for the creation of a Palestinian State that seemed impossible a few weeks ago.

He’s a racist too lol

Before a G-20 summit in London in March 2009, Lula caused an uproar by declaring that the economic crisis was caused by "the irrational behavior of white people with blue eyes, who before seemed to know everything, and now have shown they don't know anything."

Keep hitching your wagon to these loons.

Yeah, did you read what he did to overhaul their justice system there? Eye opener.

Opponents say the plan will push the country toward authoritarian rule by concentrating power in the hands of Netanyahu and his parliamentary allies.

More than half of the population are under the age of 18, so that leaves a half of a half, if we can believe that statement without any sources.

I'd assume people could figure out half the voting age population supports Hamas, 53% of them. Kids don't vote.

You can't assume what people know or don't know.

Most people know children or people under the age of 18 don't vote... hence my comment adults making stupid decisions.

Here's a good question, how many teens approaching the age of 18 have been indoctrinated to support Hamas?

Put up your source so we both have a base from which to begin that discussion.

I'd say probably the same percentage, if not more, than those in the US (age 18-24 ish) that have done the same...

Almost half of the population are children. Do you claim these children support Hamas??

And the existence of Hamas doesn't justify the slaughter of children and women, generally speaking.

It seems that you don't have valid arguments just as the rest of the few accounts here who unfortunately support the mass killings of thousands of innocent civilians.

I was precisely referring to this one.
He wanted to be judge, jury, and executioner.... He has kind of achieved it in a sense but his intentions were clear from the beginning.

And how many Israeli's of a similar age have been indoctrinated to hate Hamas? When it comes to the Hamas vote, only about 5-10% are still alive. Who counted those votes when Hamas beat the PLO? You want to accept this election nonsense, apparently America voted in Pretantand Biden. Most votes ever from a crowd of 20, maybe 200 max. So symbolic all those crosses on the lawn on ignoration day where a crowd of supporters usually stand. America voted for this moron. Is that really justification to blow it up?
