Everything Revealed at the Congressional UFO Hearing in 10 Minutes

Forgive me, I know this is probably old news for the majority of the UFOlogists here on site, but it's new to me and I'd love to hear the ATS community opinion on how this subject was handled by our representatives.

I'm a military brat with a lifelong interest in the UFO phenomena, personal experiences (both positive and negative) who has always been interested in how we as a country would handle disclosure (or potential disclosure) of the possibility of Extra-Terrestrial or Extra-Dimensional contact.

My maternal grandfather was a USAF Test Pilot during WW2 stateside and confessed to have had encounters with "Foo" on his deathbed. He never spoke of his experiences prior as he didn't want to be labeled as "unfit for duty" or thought of as "crazy". I wasn't there for the confession and he was very short in his descriptions as they were simply visual phenomena that followed him during flight tests.

I've never had an orb experience, but I have had brief flashes of visual sightings of various types of craft over the years, one extremely close encounter (and possible abduction), and a few inexplicable phenomenon that are absolutely awe inspiring yet impossible to explain.

As a child I was intially terrified and fascinated by the prosepct of other entities, and over the course of my lifetime I have become a lot less frightened and more comfortable with the concept of a peaceful and harmonious coexistence with other beings in the spectral variance of our Universe.

I believe that there are several beings from "other places of origin" who all share the human physiology while retaining some talents or attributes of their original celestial origins all experiencing and contributing to the Life Experience on Earth, which is not only the ancestral home to aboriginal cultures, but also races and consciousness from all over contributing to Education, Technological Advancements, Sustainability and Protection of Traditional Cultures and Environmental Considerations.

I view Earth as a "common ground" for commerce and trade, sightseeing, relaxation and opportunity for terrestrial studies and sharing of the arts and sciences, and that we are already a Galactic Community (and all the challenges that come with navigating such a collection of cultures and traditions).

Not all of it is sunshine and rainbows, some beings still have destructive and territorial expansionistic ideologies, some place consumpion of goods and services to the detriment of the planet though environmental harvesting of raw materials and political ideologes and so forth.

I believe there are forces working "behind the scenes" to observe and report and protect Experiment Earth and it's inhabitants.

Seeing these videos this morning for the first time inspired me to seek discussion about how our governments are approaching what may very well be the initial stages for a form of disclosure that the general public might finally be receptive to recieve in this point in our collective histories.





I know there are many of us onsite with personal stories of UFO's, orbs, visitations and other associated phenomena.

I would like to share notes on the pros and cons of disclosure, factors that should be taken into consideration (securities against hostile entities and public safety) as well as ways to identify friend from foe and ensure we smoothly transition into a world where such phenomena is not viewed as fantasy and fictional speculation, the products of mental illness or fantasy and unfounded paranoia but treated as a serious and respectable study.

What are your thoughts and experiences on the phenomena and subject in general?

I'm talking about the disclosure that there are Governmental Agencies who are looking into these phenomenon and taking them seriously as opposed to just writing them off as crackpots and fictional accounts.

Oh sure, everyone wants to see the aliens and have the exciting reveal all at once, but in my opinion we are still a ways away from Grand Disclosure considering how rude and hostile we still are to our own species on earth and folks with different lifestyles and expressions than our own.

We can't even handle the differences between ourselves as we are, and you think adding a radically different visual species into the mix is gonna play well with the intolerant Xenophobes?

Yeah, buddy.

We're a long way from that in light of the current Socio-Political Climate.

Baby steps.

At least we have confirmation that they are keeping tabs on reports and sightings and having the discussion out in the open and for public review and consideration.

That’s a bit tricky when the term used to describe these entities is ‘Cosmic Tricksters’.

In my experience, it’s virtually impossible to know who is a friend or foe. They are absolutely excellent at deception.

Yeah.

That's one thing I still wrestle with myself.

I've had dealings with the tricksters, the spolied technological elite messing with and harassing "lower life forms" and the "common plebian" because they think it's funny or have nothing better to do. Brats. I hate 'em and cuss 'em out if they show up around me with that nonsense.

There are others that are a lot more subtle and dangerous. The scientific ones who do randomized "tests" on certain subjects for whatever reasons they have. Some of them don't make any rational or logical sense. They're like sociopaths who pull the wings off flies just to watch them suffer and flail about or like the kids who would collect two species of ants in different coke bottles and pour them into an aquarium just to watch them fight. For funsies.

The alien or subterranian equivilent of the Gladiator Battles, Bread and Circuses but with the general public.

If they have a valid reason for these experiments outside of their own sick curiousity I'd love to hear from them about their methodologies and reasons for such types of experiments and what they hope to glean from them.

I've been up for 48 hours straight with little reprise and I'm a little touchy right now, and venting some personal grievences so please forgive me.

Back on topic.

The majority of recently sighted craft by the military are suspected drones with unknown propulsion and are matters of curiousity and not so much a National Security Issue at this point, or else mysterious lights in the sky that mimic constellations and then behave oddly. They have never engaged in hostile behavior or combat, and don't seem interested in interacting with us directly or else we are still trying to understand their communications. They're going about their business and not bothering anyone. No threat IMHO.

Now in the instance of UFO phenomena such as orbs or craft disrupting operations of important facilities or installations related to National Defense I can see why the Senator was curious if the new department had any insight into that type of report and phenomena. Unfortunatley the new department isn't on that "team" and wouldn't have any insight into such older accounts.

What from I understand about the Foo in WW2, reports vary. Some pilots reported their equipment malfunctioning upon contact with the orb phenomenon, which quickly righted itself when the orbs went away. Others report they would fly benignly next to their planes like escorts and where no threat whatsoever and no strange equipment phenomena, others describe them being very aggressive and distracting to the pilots, which made concentration difficult. Most of my reports on the Foo Phenomenon are from USAF pilots, so I have no knowledge of whether or not the other players in WW2 dealt with this phenomenon or how their interactions (if there were any to begin with) played out on the larger stage.

As for the craft interfering with nuclear facilities and the nature therein I know little to nothing about those reports as I haven't seen them nor heard of their visual appearance from eyewitnesses so I cannot comment on who or what might have been going on. Some people think they are preventing anything from "going wrong" and preventing nuclear accidents or full on nuclear war, while others view it as a threat because normal operations have been interrupted without explaination or explanation. Some are optimistic, some are pessimistic, but we have to consider the general welfare of not only the American People, but the Global implications as well. It's very complicated and there are no easy answers.

I've heard rumors of agencies such as MAJESTIC 12 which has been "officially" discredited as a fiction, but rumors persist. I have heard stories of the Men In Black, but accounts vary and differ in description and modem operendi of these mysterious agents. We may never know the full truth about them but if they do exist, I really hope it's more in line with the humorous film adaptation released in the 90's because even though I take this subject very seriously, I'm still a big kid at heart and want to believe the best in our Government. Go ahead and call me idealistic and naive if you must, but that's just my soft heart speaking.

The mature side of me knows that subjects like this are not always sunshine and rainbows and the Hollywood Fantasy, heavens know we have more than our fair share of films dealing with various hostile alien threats and the challenges to overcome malevolent invaders and I think that's important to keep in mind because it never hurts to be prepared.

Better a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war as they say.

Like I said with my own brand of experiences not everyone out there in nice and have our best interests at heart, and I'm not looking to place blame or point fingers at any race or group of beings out there with such influence, I just wish to have an honest and open dialogue with others to compare experiences to get a better understanding of what's going on to add to my information database.

I know there are those that will continue to downplay and validity of such things being real due to lack of "tangible hardline evidence" but that's just the way the cookie crumbles. They want us to be preoccupied with more tangible and immediate things like "Political Scandals and Intrigue" and Consumer Consumption and Sexual Escapades because it suits their own motinations, heirachies and personal agendas, but that's a different subject for a different thread at a different time, and even though they can be Overbearing and Draconian at times, they do have some finer qualities I'd like to comment on on their behalf because I'm tired of fear based propaganda about them too.

I ask that we not dismiss anecdotal evidence and personal accounts, because humanity have been telling stories since the dawn of time, and stories are an important part of healthy social functioning and communion, and the very lifeblood of any intelligent and worthwhile cultural tradition regardless of planet of origin or ancestral background.

The area in which I currently reside has visitors from all over and locals just trying to go about their day to day. It's a delicate balance trying to explain certain phenomenon when you only have limited insight, but the majority of craft sightings are benign or else part of our military operations and nothing to worry about.

Nothing to see here folks, everything is under control, please enjoy the local sights and shops! Have a relaxing nature hike, learn local history or just enjoy the fine food offerings from the variety of your favorite National Chains or feel free to sample some of the traditional local fare. Please be polite and respectful of others and have a nice experience.

It's a living and the pay ain't much but I do what I can for the greater good.

We've been seeing unexplainable phenomenon in the skies since the dawn of humanity. Some of those things we've been able to explain over time. For example, meteorites and comets were viewed as harbingers of doom in many areas for hundreds of thousands of years. Even in recent history you have a bunch of people killing themselves over a comet (Heavens Gate anyone?). But there's still tons of stuff we simply don't know or understand. The fact that due to the sheer size and magnitude of our planet we still haven't even explored 20% of the oceans of the world is a great example of how little we really know. An entire race of aquatic humanoids that have adapted to live under significant water pressure could be right here on Earth and we wouldn't have a clue unless they reached out to us.

The government (all of them) knows far more about UFOs/UAPs/etc than they are releasing to the public. But they don't have actual answers that would satisfy the public even remotely. Frankly, that makes perfect sense. In over 300,000 years of homosapiens existing, we've been able to use sound to image the ocean floor for less than 0.00003% of that time. Same goes for things like flight, space travel, nuclear power, etc. And somehow we think that governments are able to effectively interface with life forms that have likely been around and evolving for 10 times longer than humanity or more? Please. These same people can't balance a budget but somehow might be capable of understanding interstellar or interdimensional phenomenon? Come on.

We know UFOs, UAPs and more are real. We know neither we nor the Powers That Be know exactly what is going on. Best guess by even the military is that they are some sort of life forms that are observing us and have been for quite some time. We can't catch up to them and they have baffled every attempt to examine them in any meaningful way. I've seen quite a bit of unexplainable stuff, especially while in the Army. One thing I learned is that the reason a great many things never come to light is that our government is so compartmentalized that entire organizations with millions of dollars aren't even known to the vast majority of government employees. It's absolutely insane yet it is true. Heck, I remember one time where my command "found" several hundred soldiers attached to the command that had never been seen by the command ever. Years of investigation uncovered that these folks simply fell off a troop count role and continued to receive funding. Their role was and is important yet was not tracked by virtually anyone at all.

The US government has always taken UFOs seriously and has had many projects to look at them--they just don’t have the technology to ascertain what it is.

It's just that in 2017 a faction or another government disinformation psyop called TTSA started a new group of ex-government people supposedly inspired by an old rocker ufo enthusiast to engage in a new look at ufos from a standpoint that it’s a threat to our security.

In the past, the government commenting on ufos NEVER said it was a threat.
So, this new group's agenda is questionable.
