Why did a billionaire want to become president in the first place?

Back in the 80's and 90's, he was actually ASKED to do so, by many of the people bashing him today. He has LONG been on record for political activism, on BOTH sides, and being more concerned about the actual issues vs. sides. You can see this in countless interviews going back that far.

But, instead, the media has forced THEIR portrayal of him front and center instead. Those of us who have been familiar with him for decades can easily look past the soundbites and blown up statements and see a guy who really does desire to make the country a better place.

Now, that all said, I also think he has an ego, and a desire for a legacy.

BUT, this is not a DOWNSIDE. Indeed, it is what DRIVES him to be successful in this. He WANTS to be remembered as a good President, despite all of this.

Those of us who like having a job, like keeping more of our income, and want a more secure future for ourselves and our family, will keep voting for him as long as these are the actual outcomes vs. media nonsense.

It's rather adorable that you think billionaires fear going to jail though. That only happens when other billionaires have too much to lose and gestapo you into custody (and then kill you right after).
